By now I am pretty sure you have discovered my shoe addiction but you may not know about my sunglasses fetish! My car console is jam packed with a dozen different pairs of sunglasses and my new go to pair for this Spring is the ever so stylish Hollywood Blvd from FantasEyes! They have awesome accessories but I am obsessed with their eye wear. I own three pairs :) Just sayin… you won’t be disappointed.

I love fall in Arizona. It means lots of fun hiking adventures, pumpkin spice everything, and crisp fresh air. I love opening my windows and letting my house air out. One thing is for sure, it’s not cool enough yet for scarves, boot socks, or other fun fall accessories but I still love incorporating some fall favorites into my wardrobe like colors, jackets, and hats. AZ will keep cooling down but until then I am all about the light airy fabrics mixed with some of my favorite jewel tones! Happy fall y’all!

Cam and I have been trying hard to have planned weekend dates together since we barely get to spend time together let alone see each other during the week. It’s been rough but in a couple months we get a nice long break together and I cannot wait (hint hint we are going in winter but there it is summer!) We love to just stay home and binge on our favorite tv shows (guilty!) but we also love to explore a little of AZ. Some of our favorite dates the past few weeks have been to Old Town Scottsdale, The Gilbert Temple (including Kneaders of course!) and The World Wildlife Zoo. (:
Wishing you a beautiful Sunday!

I have been obsessed with this skirt for quite a while now and finally just purchased the beauty! I am so in love with it and wish I could wear it everywhere! It sure give a good light show when it hits the sun :) I was thinking about how when one beam of light hits the fabric it projects tons of light and sparkle around the room. I think my focus for the rest of the year is to do the same as I come into contact with numerous people whether it be patients at the hospital, parents or youth at church, or a stranger on the street. I want them to see my shine and have my presence, however long or short, be a positive and uplifting one.

This is my new favorite go to braid. I love how easy it is and can help dress up an outfit for any occasion! I was reminded this week about a quote from the prophet of our church, President Thomas S. Monson when he said, “Now, remember, it is better to look up.” Recently I have been challenged with seeing only the negative in situations and feeling discouraged with how I was going to shine a positive light and make a difference. The thought came in my head to ‘Look UP’ not only physically but spiritually. God IS all knowing and knows best how to handle situations. I knew that my doubt and fear was not from Him and I needed to change my attitude and have a little more faith. So far, everything is working out great and I am excited for upcoming Fall months!

I absolutely love these sailor pants from Anthro that I scored in the sale section! I wore them to my nursing ceremony to sport the classic ASU gold. It was a short little welcome into the program that our friends and family were able to attend. My sweet aunt sent me this beautiful purse just because! She is so thoughtful and it completely made my day to come home from school to such a sweet and thoughtful gesture! I can’t believe how fast the semester is going already. This week I aced a few tests and learned all about feeding tubes! Look out world :)

If you know me I am notorious for running late. It is one of the things I am working most hard to change about myself because I hate being late and rushing. But I figured while I am in the process of becoming this better punctual person I might as well find some humor in my flaws! I am off to dance nationals in California this weekend with hubby and can’t wait to catch up with some great friends! Have a wonderful weekend :)

Hope y’all had a great fourth of July weekend!

Happy First Day of SUMMER! Nothin’ like a yummy grape popsicle on a hot day :) Over here in AZ I feel like it has been summer for months but I can’t complain it hasn’t been too bad…yet…
Hubby and I are both full time in school but are trying to get away to the lake or on a hike each weekend every chance we get! I can’t wait for 4th of July in just a few weeks because it is one of my favorite holidays and I am putting together some yummy treats for the occasion. No set weekend plans yet but hopefully we think of something fast! Have a beautiful sunny day!

I was back in Louisiana with my family to celebrate the life of my sweet Grandmother. My Grandmother was all about shopping and was a fashion designer in L.A. She had a fabulous talent to smell out real leather, color coordinate with the best textures and fabrics, and was often known to sit for hours in a store making sure the quality of a purse was high value. I will miss her dearly!
