The Think Pink Project

The Think Pink Project is a dance & fitness partnered cancer organization.  Our mission is to help raise funds and awareness through community outreach to assist families in the financial burden of cancer.

I founded Think Pink in early 2013 after my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. I knew I wanted and needed to help make a difference. Working to combine my philanthropic desires with my ballet and fitness career I founded The Think Pink Project.

If you or a loved one could benefit from Think Pink please contact me or if you would like to help organize a project I would love to work with you!

Our latest project, Tucks for Tatas, partnered with Pure Barre Glendale during October 2013 and raised over $1,400!

>>Merry Christmas Y’all

THIS year we are spending Christmas with my family in South Carolina. That’s right, a DUCK DYNASTY marathon, good family, great cookin, deer sausage for breakfast, and some dove hunting in a pear tree.

Now that’s all true, but we are put on our fancy pants for a wedding weekend including a girls night out, a day at the spa with my gorgeous mom, and more than one fabulous dinner! Can’t wait to show y’all a little of home sweet home! Merry Christmas. xoxo

Phoenix Fashion Week pretty much made us feel like rockstars! We loved having are picture taken and meeting such amazing people and designers! We got to meet Ashley from The Shine Project (check out her project here), chatted it up with Miss Arizona (her first pageant and she won!), and 2012 Designer of the Year, Bri Seeley! These ladies have such sweet hearts and I loved meeting them.

Bri Seeley’s collection this year was my favorite by far! She is amazing and paired beautiful feminine fabrics with soft colors and delicate design.  Seriously, I want one of her skirts, BAD.  I also loved the Herbert Victoria & Efua collections from up and coming designers.

*I also tried out my new black skirt, didn’t really know where I would wear this puppy but new it would be BIG.  Mr. Smith pretty much stuffed me into the car. Tulle overload.  He said he liked it because it looked like a wedding dress, and I said, what a wedding dress you would also wear to a funeral?! We laughed for ever and now we call it my funeral wedding dress.

The last two pictures are for your pure enjoyment.  Don’t tell Mr. Smith but I see a baby blue onesie suit in someones future ;)

But really, what do you think of that ‘onesie’… well, whatever you want to call it?

Surprise Party // Cam 25

Cameron is turning the BIG 25 this weekend but we decided to celebrate a little early!
I had a great weekend planned for him with help from all his friends and family!
Saturday morning Cam went out shooting with the scouts
Then I sent him to Mesa for his first flight lesson of his pilots license!
He got to spend the day with Dad which is pretty much one of his favorite things to do…
Then SURPRISE!
With everyone’s help we threw Cam a great Mardi Gras themed surprise party!
He loved it and was grinning ear to ear the rest of the day.
We finished off the weekend with a family dinner Sunday in Mesa with yummy Chicken Crepes and Homemade Chocolate Chip Cheesecake!

A Pink One

Our sweet niece, Callie, turned 3! And what kind of party was she going to have? Ask her and she would tell you: “A pink one!” :)
Here are some pictures of the fun with friends and family!
Brielle made these adorable Minnie Mouse birthday invitations and added a removable bow for each little girl to keep as a hair clip.
Mrs. Sherrie made this adorable pink chevron dress for a present for Callie.  It turned out amazing! Don’t you think? I want one in my size!
Happy Birthday Callie Girl!

Wedding Part III

Part 3:  Brunch, Golf, & Dinner

The day before THE BIG DAY, we decided to go out, relax, and have some fun.
The men were off to play golf in August, GA and had a great time playing in teams with the family and groomsmen.
A dear friend closed down her salon in the morning for our bridal party brunch and to get manicures and pedicures.  It was a treat just to have my best girls all around me!
Afterwards, we had a “rehearsal” dinner in my backyard.  Cam and I both knew we wanted a very relaxed atmosphere with low stress and an easy meal.  It was a main time for our two families from opposite coasts to get to know each other better.
It was perfect! All the kids played on my childhood swing set and ran through the yard as the adults mingled on the outdoor deck that my Dad crafted and built.
My florist delivered some flowers for the night and made everything brighten with those gorgeous sunflowers.  We also gave out our gifts to our wedding party.
In the bridesmaid boxes were pearl earrings, a letter, a homemade hair clip that matched some of our decorations and fabric, and they were topped with a chocolate bar. Our three little flower girls also got a hair clip made in yellow to match their dresses.  It was a fun night before our big day!

These Boots Were Made For Walkin

Here we are again for Sunday Fashion, after another long week…

BUT THIS WEEK…. good news!

We officially put down an offer, had accepted terms, opened escrow, and ordered the appraisal.  In normal people language – WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!

It was an exciting process and we still aren’t all the way done but we are looking to move in the home in about three weeks if all goes well!

In other news, we had a girls night on Saturday and we all went to Scottsdale to go shopping and get dinner. We had a great time and I bought some tops, a phone case, and new shoes that I must show y’all!
