Cinnamon Swirl Bread
(makes 2 loaves)

Ingredients:
Batter:
1c Butter, Softened
2c Sugar
2 Eggs
2c Butter milk or 2c milk plus 2 Tbsp Vinegar
4c Flour
2tsp. Baking Soda

Cinnamon Swirl Mixture:
2/3c Sugar
2tsp. Cinnamon

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and grease 2 loaf pans.
Cream together butter, 2c sugar, and eggs. Add in milk and baking soda.  Then add in flour 1 cup at a time.
Poor 1/4 of batter into each greased loaf pan.
In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon and 2/3c sugar together and sprinkle 1/4 of it over each loaf mixture.
Add remaining batter to loaf pans and top off with last of cinnamon sugar.
Swirl with knife.
Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes.
Cool for 15 minutes before removing.

  1. This looks so delicious! My husband is gluten intolerant but maybe I could sub the flour for almond meal and brown rice flour so he could enjoy it as well!
