Crockpot Sesame Chicken

Do you ever just have a craving for what in my family was called “MALL FOOD”?  You know, when those little Japanese ladies yelled out at you to try a free sample while you juggled all those bags of newly bought shoes…
Well, since I couldn’t convince Cam that I needed more shoes just so I could sneak a free sample of sesame chicken as I wondered through the mall I decided to test out some pinterest food and see if it would hit the spot.  And you know what? It turned out pretty darn good.

Sesame Chicken
Ingredients:
5 boneless, skinless chicken tenderloins
1c. Honey
1/2c. Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1/4c. Ketchup
2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
2 Cloves Minced Garlic
1/2c. Diced Onion
1/4 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
Cornstarch
Sesame Seeds

Directions:
1.  Combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, oil, garlic, onion, and red pepper flakes.  Pour of chicken in crockpot.
2.  Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
3.  When done, dice chicken and add cornstarch to stock to thicken the sauce.  Add chicken back into the crockpot to recoat.
4.  Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve over rice with a side of Edamame.
